  • Our project was a part NIH’s UNITE Initiative, which was established to identify and end structural racism at NIH

  • Project Lead: Jefferey Everett. Graphic Designer: Me! POC: Dr. Sadhana Jackson.

  • Scientists came to us to redesign the environmental graphics that disproportionately showcased white, able-bodied men, despite the diversity of the scientists and employees.

WHY Illustration?

Amid social distancing concerns, we decided to illustrate portraits of important historical figures as well as members of the NIH community.

One visual approach for everyone, without putting anyone at risk
